A native of Peoria, Illinois, Master Chief Kase graduated from Richwoods High School in
1993. She enlisted in the
Navy in April of 1996 and attended Recruit Training in Great Lakes, IL. Following boot camp, she attended Aviation
Electrician’s Mate “A” School in Millington, TN. Upon graduation she transferred to her first
duty station, Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron TEN (HS-10) out of Naval Air
Station North Island, CA.
Her sea duty assignments include Sea Control Squadron TWO NINE
(VS-29), Helicopter Anti-Submarine Squadron Light FOUR SEVEN (HSL-47), and
Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron SEVEN EIGHT (HSM-78) where she is a Plank Owner. Ashore she was assigned to HS-10, Center for
Naval Aviation Technical Training Unit North Island (CNATTU), Helicopter
Anti-Submarine Squadron Light FOUR ONE (HSM-41), Fleet Readiness Center
Southwest (FRCSW), Helicopter Sea Combat THREE (HSC-3) and Fleet Logistics
Support Squadron THREE ZERO (VRC-30); all located on Naval Air Station North
Island. Master Chief Kase assumed the duties of Command Master Chief at EWTG
PAC in December of 2023.
Master Chief Kase’s personal awards
include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corp Commendation Medal
(two awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (four awards) and
numerous unit and campaign awards. She is a graduate of CMC/COB class 24020,
the Senior Enlisted Academy Class 261 (Brown) and she holds an associate degree
in Supervision and Management from Coastline Community College.
